Who makes the best? I have used DPMS, Double Star and CMT. I did prefer the others over the DPMS. I did have a little trouble with the DPMS bolt catch but for the most part it was good.

no issues out of my 2 double stars.  i think im gonna try RRA next time.  I hear they are top notch.  I had to do a little polishing on my kits but it only took 5 minutes.

I've used all RRA, both with and w/o the 2-stage trigger. Been very happy with them so far.

DoubleStar is a great value and a solid product. With that said these days if you can find a LPK at a reasonable price, pick it up because who knows what the future holds.

The cleanest looking ones I've ever tried were WOA from ADCO.

I have used ArmaLite, and "house" kits from RB Precision and Anvil Arms. They all went together, but the ArmaLite and Anvil kits had nicer fit/finish.

I went with Rock River Arms, supposedly a good quality kit.  $70, which is as cheap as you will ever find.  Best of all, I got it yesterday, about 10 days after ordering it.  - Phil

I have built 2 with Bushmaster and 4 with DPMS. No problems with either.

I have never been a DPMS fanboy but they worked fine.
FYI, BCM sells DPMS kits (when in stock).
At first I thought that was odd, but maybe Paul knows something that I don't.
But like I said, I had NO problems with the DPMS kits.

I have 2 more DPMS kits and 2 more Sabre lowers, so more to come.

My experience is limited to RRA, Stag, and DPMS.  The only one I've had no issues with was RRA.  Had the most issues with DPMS.

given the current supply/demand for lpk, i would say you would be lucky to find one without being ass-raped regardless of brand.

id say get what is available, and install a timney drop in trigger. you wont regret it.
