Read a bit about the guy, seems like he has a great following but Im still unsure.
Anyone use this guy and what is your experience with his finished barrels? I have a big pile of rifles to build and no barrels. I could really use having all the options I can posssibly get but I dont want garbage I try to build serious rifles. |

Are you kidding?
He has a reputation for doing quality work when he does it. Go see if the thread on him in the EE feedback forum is still active. Lot's of people waiting long times for barrels. If you don't mind his "you'll get it when you get it, and that might be a few years" attitude, go right ahead. |

thats why Im asking brother.........Im strapped for barrels bad. I seriously have a big pile of guns to build and I wont buy rapid processed chrome lined barrels for any of them. Ill go check it out. Best thing you can do these days is scan the EE hourly and get on every dealer's notification list for when they get barrels back in stock. A quality barrel is probably the hardest AR part to find these days. |

Ill go check it out. go in the equipment exchange and see if bubbaguns still has any 20" colt a1 barrels for sale.....I bought one from him and about 20 other guys did and everyone was goo, goo,ga,ga over them. NIB perfect. gorgeous chrome lining..they were $220 shipped. hey had a bunch to sell apparently |

So let me clarify,
I dont want any chrome lined barrels. Sure they are nice for people who are firiing 10K rounds of whatever crap you can find out of them but Im building what the vast majority of us are actually doing with our rifles.........Some shooting with more accuracy involved. Note........Im not building bench rest rifles but I have no illusions that my rifles are really going to end up looking more pretty than they will see battle. I have no need for a "sloppy" gun in sacrifice for a small amount of longevity. Ive not even actually seen a chrome lined barrel outlast a quality SS Anyways, I really do have a large pile of guns to build...........ALL parts are scarce but Im looking for good people doing great work to earn my money. |
| Email this guy. He has some M4 profile non chrome lined barrels. I just built a rifle with one. I havent shot for accuracy but the fit and finish was great. I paid $170.00 . His email that I sent pmt to is [email protected]. |
