[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Upper Receiver

I am buliding a long range shooter with a WOA 20" 1:7 Barrel w/M4 extensions. What upper receiver do I need to be looking for? First build so thanks for any help.

Bravo Company has uppers in stock. $110.

Any reason not to get one from Bravo? One review said the M4 cuts were bad, the rest like them.

The M4 cuts aren't exactly pronounced, but I wouldn't say they're non-existent. They match up just fine with my barrels.

I'm not positive, but I seem to recall reading in one of the threads that some manufacturers make "heavy wall" uppers that are more rigid and better support heavy barrels. Since you're spending the bucks on the WOA barrel, you might want to look around a little and see. I believe DPMS was one, sombody help me out here.

Thanks, but I don't think I want that one. Let me ask this. Who makes the the best flat top with good m4 cuts? Who has it in stock?

I made M4 feedramps on my receiver myself .they look better than any company I've seen so far.Bravo company are fine they will work perfect and they have them in stock .I've bought 2 of them (uppers).They both fuction like they are supposed to.The cuts are not deep at all.But deep enough to work OK.I would order from Bravo Co..If you order this weekend you will have them by next Friday.

Bravo has two M4 flattops, one laser etched and the other forged. I think the laser cut one was the review that had shallow M4 cuts. How about the forged one? Also PX has the Bushmaster with M4, how are they.
