| Pardon my ignorance but I have another question as I put together the parts and pieces for an AR15. I understand the merits of a chrome lined barrel but how important is a chromed bolt? Am I worrying too much about such things for my first build? Thanks a lot. |

Chromed bolt?, They're easier to clean, As far as longevity goes, I never had a chrome/non chrome bolt control group fail yet but I'm not firing full auto either. Also,.... most if not all bolt Carriers are chrome lined already. Hope that helps! |
