| Is it better to buy a complete LPK or piecing one together? I went to a gun show last week, bought take down pins, trigger springs, assorted springs.......and online, I wanted to order that RRA star selector......and I can always find a trigger and whatever else I need on the EE. Grip I dont need, the Miad comes with the screw, and I already have a winter guard. What are your thoughts? |

At the time I thought it wasn't cost effective but now reading that some LPK kits are being back ordered with almost a years waiting time I'm glad I cobbled one together when I did. |

I was thinking the same way but after adding in the shipping charges from several different places it was just too much $ IMO. I decided to just place orders and wait. 1 kit shipped the next day, another a week later, and a third 3 weeks after I ordered.
Now to hunt down some uppers :) |

Now to hunt down some uppers :) I was able to piece together most of a lower parts kit locally for less than $40. This included the safety, fcg, bolt catch assembly, and mag catch assembly. Also, Brownells generally has most of the small parts in stock and they only charge a couple bucks for shipping on small parts. |
