Last night I started putting together my first build. I ordered an lpk without the trigger since I had purchased a two stage trigger separately. When I start the build I notice the hammer and trigger pins are missing. They didn't come in the lpk or with the trigger. After looking around the vendors site I noticed that the pins don't come with the set I purchased. It brings everything else except the pins. It's now going to cost me $10.00 in shipping for a .95 cent item and at least a weeks delay. I understand that $10.00 is not much when the whole cost of the build is considered but it's something I wasn't expecting, and now can't complete the build until I get the pins. Is this something you would normally have to get separetely? All the lpk I have seen include the pins. Do I have any other options? Can anyone suggest a place I might be able to get the pins? In terms of quality how are these lpk compared to the others such as Stag or RRA?
Thanks in advance. |
| I am new myself but, I would suggest www.midwayusa.com. And the offer USPS 1st class as a shipping option that is cheap. If there are other places I would like to know also. I am building one without any kits so websites that sell individual pieces at good pieces would be great. |

Do yourself a favor and order a set of KNS Hammer and Trigger Pins 0.154" from PK Firearms. PK's is the BEST company I have ever worked with. In addition their prices are good and they don't Backorder or offer product they don't have in stock. Delivery is FAST! |

whenever you order an LPK without trigger they don't include the pins 'cuz they're part of the trigger group.Another place that has those parts is Fulton Armory, but like you say $10 shipping for $2 parts. Why not order the next batch of parts you'll need and get it all in one box? Stock...buffer tube/spring/buffer,charging handle, upper parts, etc.
Good luck on your build! |

Thanks for all the resposes.
Bchance1, tooks your advise and gave Midway a try. They were the least expensive. Powershota530, I didn't see those on their website, at least not by themselves only as options for the triggers. I odered some items from them recently and your right I did get fast delivery. exhogflyer, Thanks for the advise. I would think if the pins were part of the trigger group then they should have come with the trigger, they didn't. 260 |
