I purchased my first AR-15 14 years ago an have never looked back, however I purchase 1 complete bushmaster and a PWA lower and slapped on a 20" postban (yeah back then) A2 upper. Well I have decided to build another one but this time from a stripped lower. Being in the communist state of California I have a OLL and limited to my choices. I have decided to change the 20" preban and A@ stock to my spike's tactical sl-15 lower. With the monster grip it will be legal.
This leaves me with what to do with my assault weapon legal PWA lower. I have lurking for sometime and I am finally gona start asking some questions. I want a 16in. Chrome lined barrel, Flattop upper. I have been looking and everyone is out of stock. (thanks Obama). Other then that I have no idea what to look for in quality, or manufactures. I noticed that both bushmaster and GALATI INTERNATIONAL all show in stock. Does anybody know if these places are true numbers or Bsing? Whats the major difference between iron sites and a gas block? Are Iron flip up rear sites accurate? Oh and does it matter which lower trigger group I purchase to finish my spike's lower? Thanks |
