The collapsible stock's tube screws on so easy. Is it normal for the A2's tube to require a wrench
almost mediately after starting?

I've never had one that required a wrench. Make sure you're not cross threading.

That's why I'm asking. I tried it several times. Doesn't look crossed, but it's tight.
