oh no... are you saying its gonna be hell? I have a pin punch set and all the tools to do it, but if is gonna mess it up please tell me... awww man... now im nervous...

Is this for a rifle? or pistol? why would he need to remove the dowel pin, can't you get a barrel nut over it?

Don't know yet but I'll get the parts to finish this barrel by Thursday, I'll let you know if it fits over it.
It's going to be a rifle, XM177 muzzle break makes it over 16 inches.

Yes, I ordered from PK Firearms and they provided it with the barrel.

I ordered a 16.1 Recon also and it did not come with a gas tube, gah!

Its not impossible, but hard. Big hammer, careful aim, ect. I got a few scratches on my gas block, but I dont care its not a safe queen.

Alright, I don't think it will be too hard as I've worked on car engines and knocked out weird pins that were bottle-necked inside the parts and didn't scratch anything. Thanks for the warning though guys!
