New to the AR platform , just got my first AR a couple of weeks ago. Bought a complete upper from a member off this site and traded for a lower. Would like to learn more about the platform and figured the best way to do this would be to build one. I already have a complete lower. Just Need a little help with the upper.
Would like the upper to be similar to the one pictured before, which i found on here posted by another member. Would like this to be a 16" Barrel, M4. My Question is do i buy a 16" barrel, RIFLE length gas tube. low profile gas block and 12" Free Float Rails. Now would these parts work together or is there something i should watch out for when i attempt to build this upper. Was thinking about a gas block like the one posted in the link. Daniel Defence Free Float Rails, Vltur Model 1 Compensator. Low Profile Gas Block( Unsure). Young Manf Bolt and Carrier Assembly, CH Please let me know if i should avoid something when trying to build this upper like this. Mostly Need help with the low profile gas block and the Free Float Rails working together. Just trying to accomplish the Rails coming to the end of the muzzle on a 16" inch barrel Thanks for you time and help |
