Is it necessary to remove the fsb to remove the handguard cap? I have a BCM  midlength govt. profile bbl w/ triangle handguard cap. I am interested in the round style handguards and I think I need the round style cap. Alternatively, are there round handguards available that will fit w/ the triangle shape? I would prefer the "tapered " style handguards. Thanks

M16A2's have triangle caps and round guards.  Each guard should have three tabs.  One fits inside the triangle and two outside it on the top guard, exactly the opposite on the bottom guard.
