hey guys, im almost done with my SDM-R ish build, and im wondering if anyone knows what the longest commercially available free float quadrail is. i've been looking at the troy 13.8" but i cant find it in stock anywhere. somebody had one that was 14" and was on special a while back, but i cant remember where. ive checked PKfirearms, Rainier Arms, Dynamic Armament, BCM, and GTS. so far all i can find available right now is the Troy 13.5. . . but id like something a full 14" if i can find it. anybody got any ideas?
the rifle im building is going to be my primary hunting/range gun, and it will probably see 300yd+ duty regularly. i have a short range gun im also working on now (which will be build #2), but i think more or less since this gun is the first one ive built totally by myself i want to do it exactly like how i have it pictured in my head. ive seen a few 20" guns like mine with long free floats and they just look extremely badass to me. any help or suggestions would be appreciated. |

Hmmm..Rainier Arms had a Daniel Defense lite rail that was 14.0..I actually just sold it. Thats the longest I have seen besides the Troy MRF-RX wich is, as you said 13.5..Try calling Daniel Defense and see what they have to say about there 14.0 Lite Rail. Yes they do, I bought mine from Saojao. It's a 14" DD Lite, once I get arround to put it together, I will post some pics. |
