I'm thinking about using the DPMS High Rise Upper for my next build, which will be a 7.62 x 39. The photo on Midway's web site shows the fwd assist & dust cover deleted. I was wondering if any of you have used one of there uppers? I will most likly use some king of scope but if i did use sights, how would they work with the upper being raised? ANy one have a picture posted showing this raised upper?

Thanks Ya'll

Here's couple I built using the DPMS Hi-Rise.  They work great for scopes, but I believe that any iron sights would be WAY too high.  You would have to build a REALLY tall front sight to match.

thanks for the pics, great looking guns. I think I want the abilty to use iron sights as well as optics so I guess I'll stick to regular height uppers. I'm going to try & call Essential in the morning. I should have ordered the upper when I ordered my lowers from them
