| I am new to this site and the ar rifle so I have a question. I want to have my ar lower engraved but I have to strip it first so how difficult is it to strip a lower? Should I pay $25 to have it done or is it something I could do myself? |

Go to the build it yourself page and follow the step-by-step guide backwards. All you need is a couple of punches and screwdriver/allen head for the grip.
Be careful of the springs and detents. Safety, front & rear take down. You might not need to take down everything (bolt catch, trigger guard). Taking out the hammer, trigger are easy as pie (just watch those detents and springs I mentioned). |
