I'm a little upset.

I bought a POF 416 Gen III Stripped Lower Receiver, and I have a few problems with it.
Here are my problems.  If anyone has had problems like this let me know what you did to fix them.

1.)  There is a lot of slop between the upper and lower receiver.  I've tried this lower on 3 different uppers all very sloppy.
This bothers me so much.  I have a Stag lower that fits better than this thing for 1/3 the price.
Is this normal for POF?

2.) The mag well is kind of ruff and my Magpul PMAGs have to be jammed in to fit.  The mil-spec mags fit fine.
Is this normal for POF?

Any help would be great! Thanks

I have a POF 416 GEN 1. With my Mega Machine upper, it fits snugly. I think there is this thing called an Accu-Wedge that is inexpensive that will take the out the play between the upper and lower receiver.

Yes my PMAGs don't drop free; it's rather disappointing. I was going to try GI mags if I can ever find any ever again!

I've tried an accuwedge and it does help.
I'm just disappointed. Slop was something I didn't want to worry about with the POF.

You can quickly, easily, and inexpensively fix you problem by slipping a rubber o-ring over the pivot pin (front) lug, then re-install the upper on the lower.  If the o-ring shears with use, then install one with a smaller cross-section.

That's good to know.  What size should I start with?

I have my Gen III mounted to a LaRue upper and it fits tightly.  I've used the O-ring trick on other guns and it works OK, the O-rings will break so buy a bunch.  Another option besides the Accuwedge is the JP tensioning pin.

And no, Magpul Pmags don't work well with POF lowers.  You'll need to sand the tabs down on your Pmags to get them to fit.  There's a thread on this in POFs forum in the Industry section.
