[ARCHIVED THREAD] - 1st Build-Lower?

Newby here. I just had an opportunity to buy a couple of lowers with parts kits. The name on the lowers is "Superior Arms". I figured that, at the price, I couldn't lose so I'm jumping in. First question: Is this a decent lower?
Second question: I will be working by myself for the most part. Where are the best instructions for doing this work. I may try to find a complete upper but am not averse to putting it together myself.
Any responses will be appreciated.

Those lowers are fine. You can find complete instructions here under the armory section or Brownell's has a complete build instruction set that you can down load. After you get the front take down pin, detent and spring in, then it is easy.

Invest in a set of roll pin punches and you won't have any issues with assembling your new lower.

Superior Arms makes a good lower. I built my first SA lower on Christmas night wtih Stag LPK and didn't have a single issue. The roll pins fit like a dream.

+1 on the roll pin punches. I just finished my first lower last week w/Superior Lower and LPK. No problems with form, fit, or function.

That video rocks. It would have helped when I was using the wrong detent for the safety
