i used permatex anti-seize to fasten my barrel to upper. heard the graphite (less than 10% concentration per msds) could cause the threads to fail with time. Do i need to take apart and clean. Never gave it thought before.

Dissimilar metal corrosion will occur and the threads will fail.

MY friend, Graphite is not a good choise but probable won't cause dissimular metal corrosion it's most common use is very hot iron or steel joints. the liquid carrier evaporates leaving only dry lube. I think a better anti-seize is Lubri-Plate I've used it for years and never have had a seized thread, including stainless which is problem-matic for seizing.

I'd take it apart and get rid of the graphite.  This is what I use for assembly and for the trigger - it works well:
