I did my first build from parts today!

At the kitchen table, using WIFI, this AR15 thread, with the step-by-step instructions, a DPMS lower & parts kit, am LMT 16" M4 upper, four rail hand guard, green laser, folding front grip, four position carbine stock, and Low profile rear sight.

What a kick!  Now to get out and play with it!

Damn, I love technology!

I'm a late bloomer!...

I just finsished it

I know it will go "BANG" but I need to add some "Bling" like EOTech or ???

But here is a picture and one of my other toys that is VERY functional!

Ahhh, I understand.  I participate more in other outdoor boards such as ATVs since my hobbies and activities lean in that direction.   I joined ARFCOM back when I was doing some shopping  for ARs to use for varmint shooting  and I wanted to gain some knowledge about what was available during the AWB.

Because of our new political climate, I’ve decided to do a couple projects I have thought about for a several years.    The first being the AR pistol meant for CQ and this one, the M4, a work in progress.

My next project may be of little interest to folks here since it is not an AR but I may post it on the AK forum.  To fill in what I want, I’m planning on a registered SBS.  I have the base 12 gauge weapon and hope to turn it into something like this.
