Does anybody have the link to the thread that shows how to convert a standard size VFG to a stubby? I know it's just a matter of cutting and gluing, but the thread showed exactly where to make the cut. Thanks.

Have you considered the QD stubby? I won't buy another vert grip without the QD, so much better than pounding the spring bar grip off and on.

I did, but there are so many other things I want to buy that I figured that cutting what I have would be a stop gap measure until I can allocate funds. This site is already making me poor enough!
