I've built several ak47s and am wondering how much and how hard an ar15 would be to build? What would I need to purchase? Thanks |

Hello All, I've built several ak47s and am wondering how much and how hard an ar15 would be to build? What would I need to purchase? Thanks Difficulty is very easy compared to building an AK Cost can be anywhere from $700 to several thousand depending on what you get. For parts you basically need a lower receiver, lower receiver parts kit, stock, buffer tube, buffer, buffer spring, upper receiver, bolt carrier group, charging handle, barrel, handguard, magazines, and sights. See the following link for a tutorial on how to put it all together. This should give you a good idea of the difficulty. http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=4&t=226782 Hope that helps. |
