I'm putting together my first AR and was wondering if the large end or the small end of the disconnecter spring goes down into the trigger?

large end i believe, push it until it clicks or sets in real well. check the tacked thread at top if the BIY forum, there is also a youtube video that walks through the steps real well.

Large end goes down into the trigger.

Large end down, and push pretty hard-it'll pop into the trigger and stay there, nice and solid.
