I'm thinking about DPMS and buying 2 or 3 lowers. I looked in their catalog, and theres a lot of different prices for the recievers. Does it matter which one i get?

As far as I know there is only one .223 stripped dpms lower receiver. Don't buy a receiver from dpms directly. Forged receivers are pretty much the same, read up a little bit here. Finding one in stock right now might be hard.

Essential Arms apparently has lowers in stock. http://www.essentialarms.com/

Anybody have and like the Essential Arms lower and or other parts from Essential Arms??  Thinking about getting a few things for a build from them but don't know much about the company.
Thanks.

I bought 4 lowers from Essential Arms about 6 months or so ago with the toughcoat finish, along with the lower parts kit.  They went together fine.

The one problem with them is that they are very tight with my Bushmaster uppers - so tight it takes a hammer and punch to drive in and out the rear takedown pin.  Since this was this case with each EA lower, regardless of which Bushmaster upper was mated to it, I think EA has (or had) a problem with their rear takedown hole position.

I recently purchased a number of DPMS lowers and did not have this problem.

I had a completed 6-position dpms lower shipped to my door for $250, before the election.
