Also check out www.calguns.net There is no special 'paperwork' required, other than the federal 4473 form and DROS signature/fingerprint for the firearm component (lower receiver). This is providing that the lower receiver is not on the Assault Weapon list (most new ones are not, the list is old). The other parts are just parts and can be purchased online (also you must watch federal laws regarding SBRs, etc). You do need to be sure not to run afoul of Calfornia's many "Assault Weapon" laws. Read CAREFULLY and decide what is right for you, or you might end up in jail or worse over a piece of metal. |
