Hey everybody... I'm new here. So I'll be building my first AR type rifle here over the next few days. I pick up my essential arms stripped lower tonight after work, received my CMMG complete M4 upper yesterday, and have a RRA LPK and stock kit.
Before I can safely take my rifle out to the range to sight in and test fire, I'll have to buy a 'bullet button'- since I live in the Kalifornia republic of looney liberals who don't like the black rifle. I don't have pics yet but will as I progress. |
Welcome to the funnest state of them all when it comes to AR15's!
I try to look at it like this though. Any legislation passed (if passed) will probably be similar to what CA already has (we seem to be a damn testing ground). If so, we won't have to change a thing. |

So I started with

I'm gonna have to get a rear sight or red dot or scope... and sight this sucker in. The upper is a CMMG WASP 5.56 NATO 1/9 twist |

I'm not sure if you've looked into where to buy mags. But the websites below might help out and may save you a few dollars. They are linked to mags with 20 or 30 round bodies, but the mags only hold 10 rounds to make them legal here. You can at least get the look of a nice 30 round mag. Plus they are easier to get a hold of to pull out of the mag well compared to a 10 round body, if they don't drop free. lanworld 44mag calegalmags |
