[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Del Ton Upper

How is this upper? I have been reading about a month and see nothing but good things about DTI. I have also seen that the middy is the way alot of people go.

I've got this one on a TTI lower. I works great. I got the chrome lined barrel. The flat top in your link is the way to go if it is your only AR. David

I just assembled a Del-Ton kit last week - a 20" HBAR A2. No problems with the upper. For what it's worth, it has a Cerro Forge forge mark.

where is that mark on yours? mine says DTI on the barrel but I think that's it.

Del-Ton is super. Good parts, good prices, GREAT customer service. I use them alot. DTI barrels are built on Wilson blanks.

Aren't they the keyhole shape?

On mine, which is an A2 with the built-in carry handle, it's on the right side of the carry handle just in front of the rear sight. It looks like a keyhole. It has some other mark next to it, which looks like an 'A' over an 'O', but I don't know what that means. Anybody?

ordered a middy from them last night... Hopefully I will get it soon and post a review!!! This will be my first delton upper.
