This is a very simple question. Counting the ones you've sold, traded, or otherwise have let get away, how many AR-15 builds have you completed?
For a little variety, how many were 100% from parts with no completed assemblies used? I have completed 1 build using a completed upper. I have 2 others in the works, and I'm helping my daughter build her first. http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b337/AllenG/Guns/No1M4gry_001.jpg DPMS Lower RRA LPK RRA 6 position stock Stag Arms 1H complete upper with chrome lined 1/9 twist 5.56 barrel. Do I get extra credit for 0% forgings? If so I have three completed lowers, well almost completed. I'm anodizing them later this week, and working on chemical etching them tomorrow.
On the down side, I have only enough parts to make one compete F/T. On the up side, I have the process down so it only takes me about eight hours to machine one

Ron Ron not only do you get credit for a 0% build, (Even in progress) you get extra credit and a lot of questions from me if you're not careful. I don't like to advertise that I have any 0% products. |

wow some of you guys have some impressive numbers! I've built one. It consisted of a stripped lower, LPK, buffer tube/stock/spring/buffer bought individually, a fully assembled bushmaster upper with charging handle, and if im lucky, i'll add the BCG today. Which will also be bushmaster. I may not have assembled the upper, but i still consider it my build. I'm glad i assembled the lower though, it gave me great knowledge of the workings of the trigger mechanism and really gives it that personal touch. |
