This is a very simple question. Counting the ones you've sold, traded, or otherwise have let get away, how many AR-15 builds have you completed?

For a little variety, how many were 100% from parts with no completed assemblies used?

I have completed 1 build using a completed upper. I have 2 others in the works, and I'm helping my daughter build her first.

I built 1 so far but it was a del-ton kit.  In all honesty even though I loved building my first one I will probably try to only build one or two more for myself.  I have no need for more than 2-3 ar15.

Do I get extra credit for 0% forgings? If so I have three completed lowers, well almost completed. I'm anodizing them later this week, and working on chemical etching them tomorrow.
On the down side, I have only enough parts to make one compete F/T. On the up side, I have the process down so it only takes me about eight hours to machine one

Ron not only do you get credit for a 0% build, (Even in progress) you get extra credit and a lot of questions from me if you're not careful. I don't like to advertise that I have any 0% products. Must have fallen out of my boat.

In my Army day's, it would be in the 100's

Sence I got out, and got my 07 FFL, I would say about 50 to 60.

Who's counting?  I have built several as I offered to help anyone build their own for free in order to encourage AR ownership (they had to purchase the lower).  I didn't keep track but would say it was in the area of several dozens (but probably less than 100).  The thing I know for sure is no one can build just one.  Each time I build one thinking it is my last, some how I end up building more (got two back ordered Anvil orders as of yesterday).  It is a viscious cycle, I love it

wow some of you guys have some impressive numbers!

I've built one. It consisted of a stripped lower, LPK, buffer tube/stock/spring/buffer bought individually, a fully assembled bushmaster upper with charging handle, and if im lucky, i'll add the BCG today. Which will also be bushmaster.

I may not have assembled the upper, but i still consider it my build. I'm glad i assembled the lower though, it gave me great knowledge of the workings of the trigger mechanism and really gives it that personal touch.
