Alright this isn't like all of the other trigger guard pin problems I have seen. I had a bit of a go getting this guy in, but with 4mm left of the pin, it ain't budging. What the hell do I do? Can it be driven back out? If so, get a new pin and move on? Is that enough just to cut off the little bugger and let it be? I am open to all suggestions. Well, I don't want to pay for a MIAD right now so lets not worry about that as a solution. Thanks fellas!

Make sure the ears are supported.  Tape up around the ears (as much as you can) and get a punch and finish it off.  It will go.

Smetimes there is flash around the inside of the trigger guard pin hole.  There is sometimes an excess of coating in there on lowers like Mega.
I usually run a drill bit through the hole twisted with my fingers just to clean it out.

You may still be able to clean out the other side hole, beofre driving in the pin fully.
Oil it with penetrating oil, place the lower in the freezer for a while.  Support that ear!

To me that is the worst part of the build. The rest is gravy. Support the EAR and dont go crazy.

You might want to pull the pin and crimp it down a lil more. I always crimp the end to get it to go in easier.

I doubt this pertains to you, but I had to grind a lil bit off my Magpul trigger guard. It simply wouldnt line up the holes. I ground a lil at a time til all the holes lined up and I was good to go.

I had the same problem installing my Magpul trigger guard.  I had to file the magwell ears of the lower reciever to align the holes.  but after that my P-mag didn't fit,  so I had to file the trigger guard again where it was sticking out in the magwell.
