Hello everyone, I am in the middle of my first AR-15 build and have been receiving a ton of information from the people over on calguns.net. I live in Southern California so I have to jump through a couple hoops but nothing too bad. Its all worth it to be able to show the liberals my "evil black rifle" as a nice screw you. So far for my build I have a Stag Lower, RRA NM 2 Stage LPK, BCM 16" Mid-Length Upper with M4 Feed Ramps, and a Magpul CTR stock kit (black) that I just ordered 5 minutes ago. I am looking to get the BCM BCG, LMT Charging Handle, and for now a cheap plastic handguard. What do you experts think about my build? Should I change anything or am I missing something? I come from the military surplus rifle world so this is my first new rifle and is a whole new world to me. Also, do you guys know of a good cheap railed handguard I could possibly get? a DD lite rail is on the wish list but that will be awhile away. Thanks |

Set up sounds real good! BCM is high quality and the magpul CTR is a really nice stock. Stays put with the duel locks on it. Also is very compact when it is closed.
You could always go with the standard handguards and buy the kit that allows you to install a picatinny type rail under your handguard. Then you would be able to attach your grip or light. |
