Ok guys ive read and read and read some more. I have FALARAK's guide printed out and have read through it a million and 1 times. Question is if I get Del-ton's 16" M4 rifle kit and a Essential Arms stripped lower. Is that all i will need? Thanks . |
no. you will need lots of mags and three metric tons of ammo. optics or red dot and buis. then bdr will take over of you completely. ya you go it. its not that hard. with the kit and a lower it will go bang but budget in for sights/optics, mags, and ammo. one of my mistakes was buying a extra lower to early and now have no $ for scope mount. |

Yep, with the complete kit all you need to do is add a stripped lower and you're ready to rock and roll. BUT, I agree with Click that you need to budget plenty of money for mags and ammo. If you need good USGI mags, you can order very high quality mags w/ magpul follwers from DSG Arms for $10 each. My personal recommendation would be Magpul PMags though - any day of the week and twice on Sunday. Don't buy just one or two - get five or even ten if you can afford them. 90% of all AR related failures come from faulty mags, so have plenty on hand in case you start having issues. Other than that, save up for optics and you're good to go. |
