Is there going to be an issue with installing a DD Omega when my barrel has the triangular handguard cap on it? Can it be removed without having to take off the FSB? |
The Omega is Free Floating and will not use the cap, but it can be left on. The cap can be removed without FSB removal, but you will have destroy it. It would be easy to remove the FSB (assuming the FH is NOT permed on), by simply removing the FH, driving out the FSB pins, slide the FSB and cap off, reinstall removed parts. Or, leave it on and see how it looks to you. Hope that helps.

I tried like hell to knock the pins out of my FSB, but it wouldn't budge. I dunno why it won't come off. If there's no reason that the cap has to come off, I'll just leave it on. Thanks for the reply. Oh yeah, do you work at ADCO? I'm thinking of ordering it from you guys since you were so helpful with my questions when I wanted to get my barrel turned down. I had a question about haggling the price, though. |
