Hello I'm a LEO from NY looking to build my first rifle. I ordered a complete upper kit from RRA (CAR4) and they told it would be 3 months. I know I should be patient but are their any alternatives. I dont want to sacrfice on quality. Also I have other LEO's interested in a build. Does that give me any leverage with smaller dealers? Sorry in advance for the stupidity Marc |
| I am also LEO and I built the rifle that I carry every day and I have assembled many more for some of our other officers too. So far they have all been built with uppers from JT Distributing. Mine is built on a RRA lower that I got before they were near impossible to find. I have built others on LRB lowers, Double Star lowers (made by J&T), and a bushmaster lower. I have had no complaints and all have survived our dept carbine course and shot just as good as the dept's RRA built rifles. Oh and J&T gives a LEO discount too.
