i am nearly finished with my m4gery. all i lack is the bolt carrier group, charging handle, and a sight system (flat top upper). I have some expereince with some of High Standards guns ( i have an old shotgun that was made by them before they discontinued, and it has been a great squirrel killer ). I hear a lot of good things on other brands on this board. i was wondering if anyone here has had experience with High Standard AR 15 rifles or parts, and wanting to know if they are any good. I found a descent deal at brownells for the BCG made by High Standard.

So you're willing to pay $181 for a bolt and carrier assembly? Really?

Go to Bravo Company or Denny's Guns and buy a LMT or Bravo Company B&CG. They're $130 bucks and are great quality.

Go to Global Tactical and get the young manufacturing M-16 carrier with Dennys key and all that.

Great Carrier with great work done by Denny to add those parts.
