I've heard good stuff about Mega lowers.. but I've also heard that they don't work as well with Pmags. (Pmags are what I'll predominantly be using) Apparently Pmags don't drop free on their own. Is that a former problem that got fixed?

Purchased my Mega lower in March and PMags won't fit without major influence.  I ended up stuffing my Hahn 9mm mag block in it and calling it good.  I checked one at the Portland Gun show today and PMags fit fine.  Take some PMags to test it out first, if you have a chance.  Other than that, great quality and fit in regards to my DPMS, Bushy and FN uppers.  Good luck!

I have heard that a batch had tight mag wells, but have vever seen one. in the last 2 years I have built over 20 lowers for myself and friends and not had 1 out of spec Mega lower,P mags have droped free from all of them . Mega produces one of the finest in spec lowers made and in the event you got a bad one you would only have to pitch a bitch and they would replace it with out any hassel,  colemantyler.com  has the Mega lower at $114.99 and he will make sure your happy with whatever he sells you .the combination of Colman Tyler and Mega at that price is hard to beat ,first class products with world class customer service .

PMags work just fine in my Mega lower.  I have no trouble inserting them and they drop free.  Serial number is in the high 1600's

My lower serial is 17XX. It was on the tight side. I buffed the mag bodies front and back to get them to feed. Now, with a bit of use & wear, they all drop free just fine.
That being said, I'd still buy more receievers from Mega.
