Im looking for a trigger with a clean break but not a far travel as i like to shoot fast. My price range is about $150 so what would be a perfect choice? i'd like some input from those who have used 2 stage and single stange match triggers alike.

I have the Chip McCormick drop in single stage and the RRA NM 2 stage. They're both nice, and break very clean.  The CMC resets faster I believe. I prefer the 2 stage triggers myself. You could always have a trigger job done on the stock trigger group as well.

Yes i have heard about trigger jobs on stock triggers, but i'd much rather just order a complete drop in replacement. I guess it sounds like im in need of a single stage trigger, i just dont know which one....

I use a RRA 2 stage but only on target rifles.

I have a JP Ent. trigger and a RRA 2 stage.  Both are nice but for the price range your looking at I would say RRA.

+1 on Bill's work. Either send him your parts or buy his already done - a crisp, clean trigger that works!

Take care,

I loved my RRA 2 stage when I had it. It had the perfect amount of travel and a excellent reset. I'm probably gonna put in CMMG's stage on my next build. They run for 140.
