| How important is this spring? The pin WILL NOT go through the trigger and disconnector with the spring in. The holes will not line up. I can assemble the lower without the spring and everything funtions perfectly. Could there be something else wrong. Maybe the hole in the disconnector is off? |

It should go and yes, it is a must. You may have to push the disconnector down ( compressing the spring ) and towards the rear of the receiver. Sometimes it's a bit of a pain, but you'll get it. The only other reason I can see it would not go in is if the notch in the disconnector is not in the correct place, like it was made wrong. You can check it's location in ref to the spring location if you install the disconnector without the spring again. If it looks like these two places are lined up correctly, it will go in. Check the angle of your dangle. |
