I like Del-Ton, depending on which one you get, you should be GTG.  Shoot it for awhile, then decide what you want to add.

I was on a budget on my first build, so I bought a basic Del Ton lightweight kit; no chrome, no feed ramps. I dropped the kit on a Doublestar lower. I probably have over 2000 rounds through it, a one day training, and two tactical rifle matches with no issues at all. This rifle has been in the dirt and had the barrel smoking more than once, so it has seen abuse. For the most part I think the chrome and M4 ramps are nice features (my latest build has both), but not really necessary. I do clean this rifle regularly, although not every time it goes out.

Aint nothing like one of Joes tac matches to put a rifle thru its paces and get it dirty and scratched.

I have one assembled by them, and one that I built from parts from them.

Both have been issue free. Use with confidence.

I just finished building a lightweight CAR-15 and used a chrome lined light 16" barrel.  No problems and it shoots great.
