Any one have any experience with the Young Manufacturing Flash Hider. I got one and it was supposed to be a Smith vortex but I got a Young Manufacturing Flash Hider shown in this link:

Are these any good as I may be stuck with it?
Also does it need to be timed with a crush washer or just installed straight

It looks pretty much like the ORIGINAL first generation Vortex except for the lack of a groove cut in the front.

Turns out it wasn't even Young Manufacturing FH it is a vortex made by S.A.W. See the pics.
