i just got my bushmaster 16" M4 profile barrel in the other day for my first build. it came with gas tube, delta ring w/spring, m4 handguards, and an A2 birdcage flash hider. It seems that the kit has a crush washer that goes on before the flash hider. Correct me if i am wrong but i am guessing that i have to find a good sized crescent wrench and torque that thin on there, or is there an easy alternative to putting on the flash suppressor.
Thanks in advance.

Personally I wouldn't use a crescent wrench. It would work but now you have an excuse to buy a new tool.

I use a DPMS multi-tool and it works great for this application.

I even go as far as using electrical tape on the DPMS tool to keep it from marring the FH.

Exactly what I do.  The electrical tape with my wrench makes for a super tight fit, so you might have to tap the wrench to make sure you've got a sound bite.

I Finally got it. I got the biggest crescent wrench i could find (12"), laid that barrel on the floor, put all my weight on the barrel, it and torqued it like hell. I think the last 1/8" was hell but it looks nice and straight like an A2 Birdcage should look. I just wanna thank you guys for the info. Looks like my first build may come out ok.
