[ARCHIVED THREAD] - RRA midlength upper

I've decided on this upper for my build, but still have a few questions about barrel selection. Other then the obvious weight difference, what's the difference between a standard barrel and their lightweight version? Will accuracy suffer if I choose the lightweight? I'm not looking to make a varminter, but I still want an accurate rifle.

Their "standard" barrel is actually a heavy barrel and their lightweight is actually a standard or semi-government profile barrel.

Lightweights can be very very accurate. But like I said, as their lightweight isn't really a lightweight...it's a moot point.

Thanks for the info. I was wondering about that as their pictured standard barrel does look like an HBAR. Now all I gotta do is massage my wallet just a little more to get every last bill out of it.

Hope you aren't in a hurry. They are way behind and slooooow getting stuff shipped. I know guys that have been waiting for months.

If possible get it ordered while you massage your wallet. (credit card) That way the ball will be rolling at least.

Hmm...didn't know this. Well, I'll look around for some other brands. Or, maybe I will be building my upper after all. I had toyed with that idea anyway.

This is very similar to the RRA upper that you want, but is now out of stock. You could always call to check on the wait time.
