I'm installing one on my 16" barrel. Is a crush washer or peel washer needed?

Quite possibly none.
I had a Bushmaster reverse flash suppressor on a Bushmaster lightweight 16" barrel and there is just no way to use a washer with the combo. They are to big around to fit inside the flash suppressor.

There is no timing needed so a peal or crush would do a whole lot anyway. chances are the powder residue will keep her tight'
