Hey Gang Im Darrell and alas I am new here to the site.  

I recently built the following AR after some much needed thought and some minor research.

LOWER: Stag Arms Lower (standard Stag Coll. stock)
UPPER: ARES (A.D.S.) 16" Barrel, 1:7 Twist, Chrome Lined, Flat Top,
FRONT SIGHT: A2 FRONT SIGHT WITH POST,
REAR SIGHT: Troy Industries Folding Rear Battle Sight (I LOVE THIS THING!!!)
MAGS: 30 RND MAGPUL PMAGS (Wont be buying anything else.)

FUTURE ADDITIONS:

Daniel Defense Free Float Omega Rail (Midlegenth)

EoTech 553 Halo Sight.

Add a sling also, I like my CQD sling and mount.  Good choices on the rifle and future optics. Love the EOTech's. Welcome.

As for a sling I have a Blue Force Vickers Tactical sling to go with it and a Blackhawk that is currently attached to my paintball marker.
