[ARCHIVED THREAD] - How does one install handguard rails....

like LaRue rails? Do you have to remove the front sight or barrel? Is it a royal PITA?

You could start by reading the FAQ above for some generic info on how to do it.

A lot of the manufacturers also provide this info on their sites you just have to look for it.

If you go to the LaRue site they have instructions linked right on the very page with the info for the rails.

I looked at the LeRue but went with the DD Omega instead. The install was a snap. Pulled the old rails off, put the upper and then lower on, tighten the screws....you're done.
