will do but I leaving for an out of state trip the beginning of next week so it should be a bit before I can get to it. If quality, appearance, service, and the best price around count for anything, then this BCG is a winner for sure!!!....<><....:)

The Y/M NM BCG is alot Nicer than the RRA. But you are comparing apples to oranges.

Because they di=on't know any better.

I bought a set, direct from Rock River, when I first started building my own.  Came with a cracked mag release, that broke in two after 20 rounds. Last time I'll buy anything, but one of their lower recievers.

Wait, I take that back.  Won't buy one of their lowers either---not with that shitty looking emblem on it. The two I have are early ones, w/o that emblem.

For the same price you can buy a LMT or BCM Bolt & Carrier.

I don't know why you guys are bashing RRA here.  I have two RRA BCG's and they're great.  Their uppers and lowers are excellent too.  Better than many other brands out there.

They did have a run of bad lowers a few months ago I heard, but they quickly took care of that and made things right.

your right...there is nothing wrong with RRA...besides the wait on most of thier part's, and the fact that you can get better parts for the same, or less $.

The deal from PK Arms is hard to beat.  Gripgc8 states he can beat the $99 deal - or whatever it works out to - but where's the proof?

I had PK Arms build an upper for me, and listened to what they had to say about how they used the RRA BCG's, so I went for one.  It's apparent upon close inspection, to me at least, that RRA puts a little more thought into their BCG's than others.  Who else has the gapless rings?   It's the little details that seem to make them stand out, for the price, compared to CMMG, CMT, and others, and though RRA don't stress the quality, I think I can see it.

My carbine runs flawlessly.

Spend the extra $5 or so on the forged charging handle when ordering from PK, too.

i dont see where you find the RRA BCG for $99...its $105 with the purchase of an upper, or $130 by itself.

LMT BCG is $129
BCM MPI BCG is $130
CMT MPI BCG ius $130

there is 3 quality BCG's for the same price, or lower than an RRA BCG...i have nothing against RRA product's, i do have somthing against RRA making paying customer's wait month's for part's...i dont see the point of making people wait when they can buy other manufacturer's parts which are better, or atleast the same quality for the same price, and no waiting period.

since the OP is asking about a BCG, not a BCG and an upper...the $105 with purchase of upper dosent apply.

Reckon you're right - I figured if it was a PK Arms consideration, he was doing the same thing I was.

I thought it was $99 when I bought it, must have been $150 though.

The staking can be hit or miss (normally miss it seems) on RRA BCGs but that is an easy fix.  I have an RRA carrier with thousands of round on it with no problems, it came with my RRA upper which I love.

But, for about the same price you can get an LMT BCG which is what I do and would recommend.
