I have a Stag Lefty upper and bolt ass. for a new build.
Questions: Should I stay with a Stag lower or would a  Spikes work as well? I've got a Spikes lower ready and waiting for my .22 upper.(patiently waiting)
Also, are there any barrel restrictions/ requirements w/ the left hand build?
Has anyone dealt with Smallarmssales.com?
Thanks for the info.
Bud.

You should be able to use either lower or any other lower for that matter depending on your preference, I believe the only difference on the lower with Stag factory lefty rifle is the ambi safety.  One advantage to using a Stag lower would be matching finish.

The barrel is specific to the LH configuration and so is the bolt if I remember correctly.  Pretty sure they rotate in the opposite direction compared to a RH rifle.

Any lower will work fine.  An ambi safety and Norgron Ambi-catch are the only two upgrades on a stock Stag lefty rifle.

The upper uses a different bolt and carrier and the barrel must have an ambi extension on it for best reliability.  Some folks have used standard barrels on them with good results, but you're rolling the dice on that one.
