Purpose: Build the ultimate range/SHTF/Home defense AR for a guy who wears a prosthesis on his left side. So, the only prosthesis issues are, how to activate the flashlight effectively. Most 2 handed methods won’t work. My first attempt is an inline mount, with the button about 1cm in front of the forward grip. I just open the hook from a forward grip position to activate. I think this is what I will try. I was thinking the new CAA holder would work, but now, I’m questioning the amount of dexterity needed to use it. So. . . Is this a good parts list for a be all you can be super AR?
