I am saving my money at this point for my first build. I wanted to get peoples opinion on what i should do, because the only way i'm going to be able to afford to shoot it much at all is if i go the .22lr route, so my delimma is i think I'm going to buy a dedicated .22lr upper first and then save money i would save on ammo to finally get my actual .223/5.56 upper. Because if i get a del-ton kit and a spikes lower(my plan), it would be cheaper initially but i would never get to shoot it(cost of ammo). Is this a good idea? or am i just a uber noob to the AR world. Also, who has dedicated .22lr uppers besides MS1 and spikes? Any cheaper then MS1? not terribly concerned with quality as it is just a .22lr. |
