This is actually a 3d model my buddy created for an Army simulation training project. He threw some glass effects on it for fun - pretty bad ass! \m/

So that's a rendered image? Wow, I haven't seen any 3D modeling programs for a few years, that's impressive.

That's impressive.

If you could make one that didn't have any glare to it, it would pick up the background and be like "active camo."

I might use that for my desktop if you don't mind.

Jim, yeah it's pretty amazing what's out there for CG now. For this setup he used 3DS-Max to model, and a plugin called V-Ray to render.

KC - It's my buddy's creation, but he's fine with it!
