i am starting to put the parts together for a ar build, but im looking for more info. I am thinking of a m4 barrel 14.5 inches with a flash hider pinned to it to make it legal lenght. This does fall under legal gov regs does it.

14.5" with a pinned flash hider "proper length that is" is perfectly fine. an A2 fh is too short.
