I have just now started my first build. I am still waiting for my 6.8 stag parts kit from legal transfers. Wow, its been about two weeks now since I ordered that. Anyways, here is the work so far. The shorty is for a pistol I will be makine soon. The paint is an auto paint that I found at wallmart. Dry's really fast and the dispenser has a metal ball point tip, so it worked great going on. This paint works awesome.

Nice work and I like the GM touch up paint.  Would you give me the steps to complete the task of filling the letters?

The Touch up paint works slick. Like I said before the applicator has a ball point pen like tip. This tip works awesome. You just trace the lettering and the paint goes in. The red came out pretty fast but it wasn't a big deal. You can also unscrew the cap and on the other side of the ball point part is a brush so you could also brush it on.
Anyways, what I did is:
-I put a large enough amount of paint into the lettering to cover them completely.
-I let them sit for a 2 min
-I then took a credit card wrapped in a paper towel and brushed over the lettering to get ride of the excess paint.
-do this a couple times.
-The paint will smear and stick to the receiver.
-do not freak!!!
-just steal your wifes nail polish remover. This will take the excess paint off.
-dab a q-tip in the nail polish remover and just start rubbing the excess paint. It will start to come up.
-Do the same to the lettering until you get all the paint that you do not want off.
-I also used my credit card with a paper towel and a little bit of nail polish remover to get allot of the excess paint off.
-If you take to much paint off. Just let it dry and do it again.
-Drying time is really fast with this paint.
-here are some pictures of me applying the paint.
-This is a really easy way to trick your lower out. I have done alot of these since.
-I also have a S&W M&P AR and the SW logo on the reciever looks really trick in WHITE.
