[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Mil-Spec Buffer Tube

Help! I picked up a new Magpul OD CTR stock for a screamin' deal only to find out that it was probably because it's the one that requires a mil-spec buffer tube. Every tube I have is commercial. Where oh where can I order a simple mil-spec tube (I'll need a spring and carbine buffer but I can get those easy)??!!

Anyone got an idea? It seems the obvious places are out of stock (why?)...

Maybe too many guys are buying them at the same time like me, I probably got the last ones that Bravo Company had, they're out of stock right now.

OP you just got the best kept secret for 5-pos MIL-SPEC receiver extensions. If your a bastard like me and absolutely have to have the 6th position. right here bud

Have you tried PK Firearms? They carry the VLTORs and ships quite fast.

Is the VLTOR mil-spec tube really worth the extra money????
I need to buy three so looking for the best bang for my buck.

I've got the DS Arms 5 position tubes on six of my carbines. No problems at all; I think it's the best deal out there on tubes.
